As tenant, you are responsible to keep the property you are renting clean and in the same condition it was at the start of the rental agreement. You must not make any changes or add any fixtures to the property without written permission.

When you move into a new rental property, it is important that you record any items that might require repair on the Entry Condition Report to avoid any issues that may arise otherwise later.

During your tenancy agreement, your landlord is responsible for ongoing repairs and maintenance for items that have not been maliciously damaged. There are different types of repairs including emergency repairs, urgent repairs, and routine repairs and maintenance.

If you become aware of a maintenance or repair issue, it is important that you notify us as soon as possible by calling us or filling out the Repair Request Form below. We recommend you put your repair request in writing and keep a copy for your reference. If there are any smaller repairs that you would like to do yourself, you must seek permission from your landlord or property agent. An agreement should always be in writing and consider the reimbursement of any costs, for example.
